The Top 3 Kinds Of Toxic People

How do we get rid of toxic people in our life that are constantly driving us down and causing us to have limiting beliefs about who we are as a person and placing limits on our true potential? This is something that is incredibly important in order for us to grow and expand beyond our own self-imposed limitations. But why is it so difficult to remove ourselves from these people?

  1. People with toxic beliefs.

You can’t do that. You’re too old for that. Don’t you need to be a tech savvy person in order to figure those things out? You have a comfortable job you’d be crazy to quit and go pursue something like that.

Sound all too familiar? Like most of us I hear people saying the same types of things all the time trying to impose their limiting beliefs upon myself or upon somebody else that they’re in conversation with. In their own mind they probably mean well but nonetheless it still limits your potential and can possibly be a dream killer. what makes these people difficult to get away from is usually it’s our family or close friends. They may mean well but none the less it can stop you from taking your first step into the unknown so that you can find a new potential for yourself.

            2. Critical people who have                    accomplished nothing themselves

I’ll start this one with, the only person who is a failure in life is the person who never tried. Never even begin to entertain the criticism of people who quite frankly I call LOSERS. they have never done anything with their life and they’ve always played it ‘so-called safe’ and have never made any kind of impact on the world. If you want to make an impact on the world, never even begin to entertain the toxicity of these people. As the saying goes a hater gona  hate.

             3. Toxic mentors

This can be a bit more tricky to identify because mentors are people who look up to, who we take advice from, and who we do accept constructive criticism from. Although how do you know when your Mentor is toxic?

For starters you have to figure out why you consider this person a mentor. For one of two reasons from my experience would you consider somebody a mentor. The first reason is because of cultural norms, so these would be people like a schoolteacher a pastor of a church or maybe even a local politician. Well, how could these kinds of people be toxic? That depends, there is one important questions you must ask yourself when choosing a mentor. HAS THIS PERSON CAME TO A SPECIFIC PLACE IN THEIR LIFE THAT I ASPIRE TO BE IN THE SAME PLACE THEY ARE?  If your answer is yes then you have a mentor that will not be toxic to you and will not hold you back with limiting beliefs or criticism. These mentors will be able to help you bring out the best version of yourself so that you can your goals in life.

Non-toxic people

Now that we’ve covered some common types of toxic people that you really need to stay away from. Let’s cover what kinds of people you should be around. Most importantly you want to be around people who have accomplished in their life the exacted same thing you wish to accomplish in yours. This is especially true so that you will have non-toxic mentors that will give you constructive criticism and build you up to become the best version of yourself. Surround yourself with friends who are willing to give you time to grow yourself. If you have or find a friend like this defiantly hang on to they because they are one in a million. Keep people who are not willing to give you time and always want you to go out with them and do pointless things that don’t bring you any closer to your goals in life.

Now that we’ve talked about in my opinion what some of the most common types of toxic people are, also some of the good types of people. I want to encourage you to get out there and take action towards your goals and dreams.

Never take advice from anyone who you wouldn’t also take constructive criticism from.

Toney Robbins, The 6 Human Needs

Human Needs

Human needs what are they and why do we need them? I was recently on  Toney Robbins website and read his post about, what he considered to be peoples six driving needs. The things which we make most of our decisions on.

           The 6 human needs

1. Certainty: Assurance that you can avoid pain and gain pleasure.
2. Uncertainty/Variety: The need for the unknown, change, and new stimuli.
3. Significance: Feeling unique, important, special, or needed.
4. Connection/Love: A strong feeling of closeness, or union with someone or something.
5. Growth: An expansion of capacity, capability or understanding.
6. Contribution: A sense of service and focus on helping, giving to and supporting others. Here’s a link to Toney’s web site were I found this information.

My experience with these basic needs and how they related to starting my own business.

In my life certainty has been a big need. Especially when it came to starting something new. The overwhelming feeling of not being able to be certain about the outcome was difficult to deal with. The great thing about having mentors is, they have already experienced all of these issues. They can help you overcome them because they have already done it. So, how did I deal with certainty? I backed my inevitable success off of the fact that what they did caused them to succeed. Therefore success for me was just a matter of time, my willingness to change, and my determination to put in the work.

“The great thing about having mentors is, they have already experienced all of these issues.”

Here’s the paradox, the need for uncertainty. The great thing about getting certainty dealt with is you can step in to uncertainty with excitement rather than fear. I saw the repeated success of others so I could embrace this uncertainty with creativity knowing that my ultimate success was going to happen.

“The great thing getting certainty dealt with is you can step into uncertainty with excitement rather than fear.”

Feeling significance, this is what’s so great about having an online community there with you to help and encourage you every step of the way. Not just to help you, but that you also get to help others and

online community.

helping others keeps me more motivated to keep moving towards my goals and dreams. When you make others feel significant you, yourself will feel significant.

“When you make others feel significant you, yourself will feel significant.”

What I found interesting was when I started to feel significance with what I was doing in life, I started to feel more connection/love in other relationships as well. It was kind of like when I started to gain a sense of significance, I didn’t feel depressed or just mentally drained. After time I noticed I gained more patience to not just react and blow up on my family just because I was in some kind of bad mood. We can begin to develop knee jerking reactions towards our spouse or children that can be negative. It’s easier to encourage someone you may not personally know because you don’t have those negative associations with them. In doing so its like your practicing on other’s that will then begin to affect other areas of your life. Bringing more connection/love.

“I had the patience to not react and blow up on my family just because I was in some kind of bad mood.”

We’ve all heard the saying “If you’re not growing you’re dying.”    Growth is so important in life, I know that if I’m not doing something to cause growth in some way I start to get depressed. Life is more than sleep, eat, work, repeat. We have to be doing something that challenges us, makes us feel good, and keeps life interesting.

Starting a business, picking up a hobby, or just changing up the routine a bit can help in so many ways!

“Life is more than sleep, eat, work, repeat.”

Contribution really falls in line with significance. When your contributing you really have a sense of self-worth and value. Sometimes its easy to just want to receive from others and we get upset if that doesn’t always happen. I’ve found that the more you contribute the more contribution you will receive from others. It’s most defiantly a two way street.

“When your contributing you really have a sense of self-worth and value.”

Starting a business is something that requires change in order to be possible, and Toney Robbins is one of the top leader’s in the area of changing peoples lives. He has many years of data and experience to deliver sound principles that we can follow to start the change in our own lives. This has been my experience in getting to know who I am, by turning these principles into questions to ask myself. Then challenging myself to make the changes to create the life I want instead of a life that’s just happening to me. I now ask you to turn these principles into questions, push outside your comfort-zone and see what you can do to change your life!

I’ll see you on the other side. Kody

Sometimes we have to experience what we don’t want to know what we do want

Sometimes we have to experience what we don’t want to know what we do want

This world is full of contrast. There is good and bad, right and wrong, up and down, beautiful and ugly. Life is full of opposites and everything in between. We can all agree that life is full of bitter/sweet contrast. But were does contrast come from?

Something that would be good to you may not be good to someone else. We all have our own unique desires what we value and don’t value this is as different as each of our personalities. How can we know what we
want out of life without experiencing things that we don’t want? Now, I do understand that this is not always the case some people figure out what they want out of life early on. All though A Gallup news post from 2017 said,

Gallup news post

Only 15% of the world’s one billion full-time workers are engaged at work. It is significantly better in the U.S., at around 30% engaged, but this still means that roughly 70% of American workers aren’t engaged. It would change the world if we did better.”

Why is it that so many people are unhappy with their jobs yet unwilling to change? Why do we have this perception of getting a job that is just a means to an end? Sure we all learn ways to make money as we grow up the issue is what if the only way we know how to make money doesn’t line up with our desires we have in life. I know that perception and desires are circumstantial and unique to us as individuals. But I’m sure we can all agree that working in a job you don’t really like for 30 plus years doesn’t sound very fulfilling to me. Unless being unfulfilled is your desire in life…

What is fulfillment? To me it is when my life aligns with my desires. All my life I have worked in a jobs that were only a means to an end. Just surviving paycheck to paycheck (this may sound familiar). Obviously any of us in this situation can agree that this gets old quick, you know when it finally hits you that what your doing in life is never going to get you what you want out of life. This is when you have a choice to make. Step outside your comfort zone to make the life you desire, or Stay in the familiar and never live your dreams. To often we decide to do nothing because we simply don’t know what to do or how to do it. We don’t know what we don’t know. One thing we can know for certain is that we can learn new things and these new things can change our lives of the better. So I want to offer you a way to step outside your comfort zone to live the life that is aligned with your desires. Here’s the offer to the same mentors that have taught me how to create a life of freedom.

The Hardest Thing In Life

The hardest thing in life, figuring who we are

What is life all about? I know this is a deep question, at least it is for me. We wake up go to work, come home and do it all over again. When your in a job that your not very passionate about you can become very frustrated with life. We spend so much time working everyday that usually our dreams and ambitions get put on the back burner. In my case I either had the time and no money, or money and no time. I hear this from many people all wishing they could have both not a I want to have my cake and to eat it to, but a balance.

Finding a balance

To often relationships turn bitter because there is a lack of balance in life. When your too busy we often neglect the ones we love. Finances are the leading cause of stress in most relationships, according to a study featured on CNBC. I feel this is because of a lack of balance. Trading most your time for money, yet only being able to barley make ends meet. This defiantly was my case. This is what urged me to start to look for alternative forms of income. Leading me to find the SFM.

Could I actually learn this?

I don’t know about you, but the idea of an online business almost sounded to good to be true. Not to mention I wasn’t the most tech savvy person either. So even if I could earn an income online. How hard would it be to set up? I didn’t let this stop me though I was determined to check it out. To surprise, it really wasn’t what I expected. Stuart explained everything with a clear understanding of how technological advances have made building a successful online business easier than in the past.

We are all working for someone

We are all working for someone. Is it the someone you want it to be?

Your alarm goes off you wake up its Monday morning again. Time to start another week at a job you may, or may not be passionate about. The thing is we are all working for someone, it may be a boss you don’t like , a corporation that doesn’t portray the same ethical values you have. It’s a steady job there’s always a check on Friday. Everyone is always remaking how wonderful of a job you have, and you should be thankful to have it. Mabey it is a good job that offers you financial security. Its just not a job your passionate about, it doesn’t fulfill you by giving you a sense of accomplishment a real feeling of moving forward with your life’s dreams and goals.

If your not fulfilling your dreams, your fulfilling someone else’s.

This is what really got to me, I was tired of putting all my time and energy into someone else’s dreams especially someone who didn’t appreciate me, or respect me. Anyone who has been an employee knows that your job can drastically reduce the amount of time freedom, location independence, and overall quality of life one wishes to live. With me this causes so much anxiety when I’m not aligning with my passions and goals in life. We all have a need to express ourselves our authentic selves. You are either expressing  your life, or you are depressing your life. I have found this to be very true.

Expression – Depression

I came to a point in my life when I really sat down and thought about why I was so depressed. I thought about it, made a list of what I always thought my life would be like. It was interesting to see that most my dreams in life didn’t add up to what I was currently living. Of course there were many things I had that I was grateful for, it wasn’t about be ungrateful, but rather aligning more with who I was as a person. We all have a need to be heard I think this is a vital part of life. Most times than not the areas in life were we are depressed are the areas were we are not being heard when we need to be. What helped me along this journey was to make the choices to start expressing myself in those areas (in a heathy way).

The someone you want to be working for, yourself!

Working for yourself, this doesn’t mean for strictly financial reasons. working for yourself can be making sure you have time for yourself and spouse to spend together, or pursuing a hobby your passionate about or what ever it may be. In all honesty I didn’t have any entrepreneur goals in life until I started working for myself with the nonfinancial goals and dreams on my list. I found that the improvements in those areas of my life helped me see with more clarity to create a successful online business.

The business module for me

The online business module was the perfect module for me. It allowed me to spend more time with my family, location independence, financial freedom, and most importantly to be able to express myself in a heathy way. Most of the time we say we cant live our dreams because of our finances, but in this day and age there are numerus opportunities for financial growth. Five Goal Setting Tips For 2019

Five Goal Setting Tips For 2019

Its that time of year again, time to set goals for the year to come. Here are five tips to help you get started right for 2019.

 1.Set goals that motivate you.

By setting goals that motivate you, well obviously you much more likely to follow through. Daily motivation is key, we all live our day to day lives moving from one small motivation to the next. For example, you are motivated to get out of bed because you have to go to work, or motivated by your boss to get that project done at a certain time to receive a bonus. Your children motivate you to keep food on the table. Your need for shelter pushes you to make sure you pay your bills each month. Without always realizing it everyday we set and complete goals. This same principle can also be used in starting and completing your dreams and ambitions in life.

2.Set S.M.A.R.T goals.

By setting (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time bound) goals, you are setting yourself up for success in achieving all the goals you set out to accomplish.

Make your goals Specific, by doing so this the mind a more narrow focus witch is what you need in attaining your goals. This helps to keep anxiety levels down when thinking about your goals. Also become specific about the I cans and not the I cant’s around the idea of accomplishing your goals.

By making your goals Measurable, you are not going to feel like you have bitten off more than you can chew. Take your ultimate goal break it down into smaller short term measurable goals. Allowing you to be even more specific towards your goals. Being specific about your big goal is great, but applying that some focus on your smaller bit size goals allows you to have laser beam focus on your big goal all the time.

It is so important to make your small goals Attainable, after all it wouldn’t be a small goal if it wasn’t. Believe it or not it can be easy to make your small goal efforts to large. If your finding that your small goals are causing you anxiety to accomplish sit back, and get even more specific on what an attainable small goal is for you.

Make your small goals Relevant. What does a relevant small goal look like? This is critically important as the way we set goals can be kind of effected by our personality. How you say? For example you see someone who is living the lifestyle or career you would like to have. Its easy to see how their personality differs from your own, and because of this difference the way they make chouses will also be different. I’m not saying to not be yourself, and just mimic other people, but rather grasp the concept of their personality and incorporate it into yours in your own unique way. If there is something that person is doing that is really helping them to be successful in their business, but your personality pushes you away from doing that same thing. It is important that you start to make small goals towards that thing what ever it may be to keep your goals relevant to your larger end goal. Here’s a link to a great TED X talk about personality/self image, and how it affects your success. This is probably the most difficult aspect of starting and completing goals that demand you step outside your comfort zone.

Goals have a start date and a ending date. Make your goals Time Bound. It’s easy to start a goal sometimes not so easy to complete a goal. This is where the importance of keeping your goals time bound comes in to play. When your small goals have a deadline to meet you will be much more likely to complete them. To run your own business, and be your own boss, well you have to be your own boss. What are bosses always doing? Giving their employees deadlines to meet. By making your goals time bound you are becoming your own boss. Isn’t that what we were after in the first place “to be our own boss”.

3.set goals in writing

When you set your goals in writing your making your goals tangible. This helps to show the brain that what you are setting out to do can be manifested physical. Because you are holding a physical piece of paper in your hand while you write, and read the words of your small, and big goals. This also helps with becoming more specific about your goals. This brings more reinforcement about the possibility of accomplishing your goals.

4.Make an action plan

Grab your annual planner, and from your action plan. Use your planner to write down your small goals and their completion dates. You don’t have to fill the whole year up at once, just stay planed out for the month, or if that’s to much at a time drop it down to just weekly, weekly works best for me.

5.Stick with it

With your planner in hand containing your small, and large time bound goals. Stick with it remember your the boss now its up to you to stick to your goals. No one else can do it for you. The toughest part of this for me has been the personality hurdle to jump so I can keep all my goals relevant to the task at hand, and continue moving forward in my business despite the things I have to change about myself to accomplish success.

Your personality equals your personal reality.

Education vs Action

Don’t mistake education for action

Don’t get me wrong I know that we all need to have education to better ourselves, but here is something that has helped me along my journey. Understanding that always watching this, or reading that doesn’t equal taking action towards your goals. Let me explain.

So you need to learn something that will bring you to your life goals. You search until you find what your looking for thin you begin to learn about it. All is well you really fell like your making progress toward your dreams. Now comes the tricky part. In the beginning just learning is progress, but this is were 99% of people give up or begin to give up. Why is this? I know people who are well

in there thirties who are still going to collage. They will go to collage for this for a while thin change there mind to that for a while, and thin be off on another rabbit trail again. Always learning while never taking action will never lead you to fulfilling your life goals. In the prosses of completing your goals you need to be aware of what taking consistent action for you is.

Now while in the beginning educating yourself is taking action toward your goals. There will come a time when taking action is just that, Action. The reason this can be difficult is because when you begin to move away from education into actually doing what you’ve been learning the mind has to thin create a new paradigm. You commonly hear this called stepping outside your comfort zone. 99% of

people will fall back into what I call the “education vicious cycle”. You see as long as you don’t think you don’t know enough to take this kind of action your mind will keep you in this cycle until you become discouraged and give up. This unfortunately is why so many never reach their full potential in life.

Understanding which one is necessary

while understanding education is important taking action is equally or in some cases more important. When you take action your telling your mind that your serious about what your doing. Then your mine will begin to open up to more possibilities, and opportunities  for ways you can take more action.

In this way you allow yourself to be educated, and at the same time moving toward your life goals. Always felling like your making progress, well because you are.

Success is literally an attitude change away.

Easiest way to start an online business

Easiest online business to start

So what would be the best online business to start? Especially if you have little to no money. Hands down it is affiliate marketing. Promoting someone else’s business, product, or service and making a
commission every time your referral results in a sale. Click here if your interested in affiliate marketing.

Why affiliate marketing

Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money by promoting a business, product or service that you use and love. If its something your using already, why not make money promoting it? Its a great way to generate just a part-time, or if you prefer a full-time income. Not to mention the time, freedom, and financial flexibility it can provide for you and your family. The affiliate marketing industry is growing at a rapid rate, chances are you more often than not buy products based off of what you have seen or heard from an affiliate marketer.

Affiliate marketing vs traditional business

I have always wanted to start a business of some sort but was like many others under the impression that it was expensive to start any kind of business. The fact that the start up for an affiliate marketing business is something that your average wage earner can afford. This brings real potential to the fact that truly anyone can start a business now days if they really want to. Also the ability to reach your target audience in order to make sales has never been easier. If you were to run a campaign in a different time zone you could literally earn money while you sleep. If this interest you, claim your free start up here.

Why is it more affordable

With a traditional business you have the cost of overhead, having to make a pay roll, along with all the other cost of having employees. Physical real estate to place your business on and needing to warehouse your products, Paying usually high tax rates along with any kind of business specific certifications or licenses. With online marketing you can dramatically decrease your monthly overhead. To create a web site is very affordable for the average working person, and through automation one person can accomplish what would take serval people to do with out it. The virtual world is full of tools in the same way as the physical world. The difference is these tools come at a much more affordable rate. Top 7 things all self made millionaires have in common

I’m always researching successful people to see how they do it. one of the biggest things I look for are the things they all have in common. Now I know that success is not a one size fits all, but there are diffidently key habits if you will that all successful people have in common. My list of these top traits can only be drawn from my prospective. So it will differ from other list of top successful habits, but that’s the beauty of it as you grow your online business or any business for that matter. This can be just one more piece of the prospective puzzle so to speak in helping you on your online entrepreneur journey. So here are the top seven traits of successful people that have stuck out to me.

  1. They have a big enough reason to do what they do. If you lack this mental clarity, you will so lose track of the whole reason you started your journey to began with. once the excitement of the new adventure wares off you’ll find yourself wanting to give up. I place pictures around my house in places I will see them when I do my everyday route, pictures that match my goals in life. I keep my Facebook entrepreneur oriented, and anytime I here a word of wisdom or good advice from people I want to be like I write it down in what I call my little book of wisdom.
  2. They are very persistent. This is the one I here most often, and so very important to success. with out this key principle your sure to fail. Being persistent is the only to figure out challenges, the most sure way of rooting out procrastination.
  3. They are very carful of the people they associate with. It is said that you are the sum of the top five people who influence you in life, this could not be more true. Any time I’m around people who can only offer me a prospective of limiting beliefs, I immediately   go back to my reason as to why I’m doing what I’m doing, and then remind my self that I can do this simply because other people have already done it. I encourage you to find stories of people who have despite the odds come out on top, and let that inspire you.
  4. They use a master mind in there business. This important concept of the master mind is worth its Weight in gold. All successful people master mind with other successful people to grow there business. Surrounding yourself with a culture of success will greatly drive your motivation to be successful.
  5. They are more conscious of their emotions. Your emotion can be described as your energy in motion. when you place your energy in to negative situations or drama etc. you destroy you minds ability to be creative. Limit or completely remove yourself from toxic people or places so you can keep your emotions in a positive creative state.
  6. They all manage their time. Time management is very important to success. Without managing your time over whelm is sure to set in. Something that helps me with this is my location, I will go to a coffee shop or somewhere I can change my surroundings so I can stay in a “I need to get things done” state of mind.
  7. They all take control of their morning routines. Take control of your day by taking control of you morning. I repeatedly here this from successful people. The biggest part to doing this is for at least 30 mins NO ELECTRONIC DEVISES (phones, tablets, computers, etc.) allow your mind to wake up naturaly with out the blue light stimulation from these devises. The same can be said 30 mins to an hour before you go to bed.

I hope these tools help

In conclusion when you start your online business you must adopt the habits, tools, and principles of the successful. Take this list and write it down, and personalize it to fit your journey to creating a life lived on your terms. The top five life regrets of the dying

I read an article today by Bronnie Ware, who worked in palliative care. Her patients were those who had gone home to die, she spent there last three to twelve weeks with them as a nurse. She surveyed these people on the life regrets they had and these were the top five.

  1. I wish I had lived a life true to myself, not the life that others expected me to live.
  2. I wish I hadn’t worked so hard.
  3. I wish that I would of had the courage to express my feelings.
  4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friend and family.
  5. I wish I had aloud myself to be happier.

As I read this article it made me realize my vision for my future all the more. It gave the sober reminder that we are only on this earth a very short while. It is so important to have clarity on your goals, and vision for your future. Where do you want to be in five years or ten years from now? What is the reason you get up out of bed every day? What is your reason, because if you can’t maintain clear focus on your Goals you will never achieve them. Find that reason for getting up everyday, that reason for working that over time so you have a marketing budget for your new business, the reason you moved out of large house into a smaller one so you could so money for the future YOU WANT not a future that others may say would be better for you to have. Make your goals into a must have, do or die priority. Only then will you achieve your vision, when it becomes something you don’t just want, It becomes something YOU MUST HAVE.

Don’t sell yourself short in life by not executing on your dreams, life is short so make the most of it, click here to read her full article.
